HELLO, MY NAME IS MARTA.

Hi there! I am an aspiring UX/UI designer from Detroit, Michigan. I recently earned my Master’s degree in HCI from DePaul University. I really enjoy learning about many different things and taking a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to problem solving.

WHY AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT UX?

After dabbling in many different areas, I have found UX to be the perfect combination of empathy, logic, and creativity. I’ve always craved working in field where I can make a difference in peoples’ daily lives, and I love being able to do that by designing and improving systems people use every day. I’m excited about inclusive, accessible, human-centered design, and I aim to create better experiences by understanding users, and designing clear systems which help people reach their goals with ease and simplicity.

When I’m not designing, I love taking walks with my husband, cooking and baking, being a (very) amateur salsa and ballroom dancer, and traveling as much as possible!
